The Microalgae and Microtechnologies incubator will be held online from 4th-6th May 2021.

Anyone with an interest in microalgae and/or microtechnologies are welcome. Go to the Register page to sign up and apply for a place. Places are limited but we will confirm your place ASAP.

There is no fee and there are some bursaries for participation, particularly for students and postdocs. We don't want anyone to feel prevented from taking part so let us know if there is something we can do to support you, e.g. childcare costs, provision of technology etc

The workshop will bring together academics and industry interested in exploitation of microalgae, primarily to explore the potential of microsystems technology across a range of applications.

There will be a series of short talks outlining key challenges. Participants will then break into discussion groups to exchange ideas and further define the problems. Subsequently we will form small groups to work on identified challenges. For more details read the FAQs.
